After the National Examination Board (NEB) decided to publish results in the grading system, there no significant meaning of converting the result into the percentage.
If you convert your grades to marks, the whole purpose of the Grade System in the SEE result is lost.
However, if you still want to know your SEE result of 2074/2075 in percentage then you can use a simple formula to convert your GPA into Percentage.
Formula to convert SEE Grading Point Average (GPA) into Percentage
The formula is:
Percentage = (GPA + 1) * 20
Example:
If your GPA for English is 3.5. Then
Equivalent Percentage = (3.5+1)*20 %
= 90 %
You secured 90% in English subject. This includes marks of both theory and practical exam.
Formula to convert Percentage into SEE Grading Point Average (GPA)
The formula is:
Grading Point Average (GPA) = Obtained Percentage/20 – 1
Example:
If your percentage is 78% in Math. Then
Equivalent GPA = 78/20-1
= 2.9
You secured a 2.9 GPA in Math subject.
Hope this helped. But, we highly recommend not to try this. Grades and percentages are different marking schemes and shouldn’t be compared with each other.
